This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Ensure that key initiatives related to risk, underwriting, and compliance are visible, prioritized, and making progress.
• Coordinate and maintain the roadmap for Risk, Underwriting, and Compliance initiatives.
• Assist in executing cross-functional projects by defining their scope, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics.
• Monitor progress across initiatives and identify risks or obstacles at an early stage.
• Collaborate with leadership in Risk, Underwriting, and Compliance to understand priorities.
• Track and report on progress against established KPIs and operational goals.
• Facilitate regular status updates, create dashboards, and provide executive-level reporting.
• Act as a coordination point between Risk, Underwriting, Compliance, and partner teams.
• Coordinate activities involving third-party vendors.
• Enhance operational effectiveness by maintaining documentation, workflows, and basic program management processes.
• Review proposed policies, controls, or workflow changes and provide constructive feedback.
• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Over 5 years of experience in the merchant payment industry, specifically in risk, underwriting, or compliance.
• Familiarity with TSYS, First Data, and similar merchant processing applications.
• Proven experience in building and managing roadmaps, prioritizing tasks, and tracking the delivery of multiple initiatives.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of CRM platforms.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Excellent program and project management skills, capable of planning, organizing, and advancing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across various departments.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong analytical and research capabilities, with a keen attention to detail and documentation quality.
