This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide strategic leadership and direction for intricate and impactful programs, ensuring they align with organizational goals and priorities.
• Advocate for Effectual's Delivery Framework using Scrum or hybrid methodologies, promoting collaboration among project resources, partner teams, and customer stakeholders to track progress, eliminate obstacles, and ensure accountability.
• Coordinate the staffing of customer workstreams and act as the escalation point for risk management and the mitigation of customer concerns.
• Develop productive, trusted relationships with key customer executives and stakeholders.
• Grasp customer business priorities and objectives, ensuring that Effectual's efforts are aimed at delivering value, achieving outcomes, and supporting strategic goals.
• Engage executive stakeholders with regular program updates, addressing concerns and obtaining necessary support and resources.
• Convert objectives and requirements into actionable project plans and deliverables.
• Communicate and negotiate changes in timelines, prepare and deliver change orders, and conduct weekly status meetings and reports.
• Research and respond promptly to client inquiries, including technical and billing questions.
• Cultivate long-term client partnerships by identifying opportunities for repeat business and referrals.
• Evaluate customer governance and cloud maturity; develop customized communication and governance plans.
• Allocate, schedule, and manage project resources while resolving conflicts as necessary.
• Hold team members accountable for task and timeline commitments; ensure timely and accurate time entry, review, and approval.
• Manage program resources and budgets, optimizing allocations to enhance efficiency and ROI while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor project financials against forecasts, promptly flagging risks to timeline, budget, or scope to PS leadership and Account Executives.
• Prepare level-of-effort (LOE) and duration estimates for review by leadership and for cost estimation.
• Identify and evaluate program risks and dependencies, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure program success.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, gather requested client information, and clarify deliverables and definitions of completion.
• Mentor and coach less experienced Effectual PMs to enhance delivery, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Involve Account Executives in key project milestones (e.g., kickoff, close-out) and communicate potential opportunities for follow-on work.
• Maintain open, proactive communication with partner and client delivery teams to ensure seamless engagement delivery.
• Lead change management initiatives, ensuring effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational readiness for transformation efforts.
• Inspire and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative environment, providing mentorship, and facilitating lessons learned sessions to continuously enhance project management practices.
• A degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience working with AWS Cloud or other major cloud platforms like Azure or GCP.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Program Manager or in a similar role within a professional services organization focused on IT Consulting or IT Services.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in professional services.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite tools.
• PMI PMP Certification in good standing.
• Certified Scrum Master in good standing.
