This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +8 more states.
• Responsible for the Responsibility, Authority, and Accountability (RAA) for the delivery and successful execution of every project scope within technical, schedule, budget, cost, and quality commitments.
• Provides leadership across the Program.
• Encourages team input to facilitate the quick resolution of issues.
• Coaches team members and provides feedback/rewards based on performance indicators.
• Establishes objectives and goals, directing the program and project teams in areas related to customer concerns, potential scope changes, and risk assessment.
• Facilitates the implementation of program management processes throughout the organization.
• Manages effective communications with customers.
• Serves as the primary Program interface with the customer.
• Enhances organizational responsiveness to customer requirements.
• Communicates and manages customer expectations and contractual commitments within the business.
• Ensures that standard program management processes are utilized and provides adequate support to program and project teams by coordinating Program Management reviews, preparing, and publishing PM metrics and reports.
• Maintains Focus KPI metrics for the program, including quality, technical performance, and delivery throughout all assigned product lifecycle phases.
• Effectively manages program risks.
• Leads customer teams in defining project risks and proactively identifies risk mitigation actions.
• Coordinates all risks and requirements of the program into a cohesive integrated entity by planning, controlling, and integrating all projects into the programs, measuring all elements to ensure requirements and goals are successfully met.
• Ensures that an effective change management process is utilized.
• Provides monthly program updates (Program Status Report – Green/Yellow/Red) regarding the current situation related to contractual milestones and problem/high-risk areas (e.g., technical, cost, and schedule).
• Offers updates to business units as well as divisional and group levels.
• Manages the team to effectively support customer contract terms and SLAs.
• Owns the execution of operational SLA delivery and escalations.
• Drives the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process with the assigned customer account.
• The Program Manager will oversee quarterly pricing updates on existing programs.
• Full responsibility for the continuous improvement of customer relationship performance metrics and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinates and drives the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, including the timely completion of a formal cross-functional Design Review.
• Ensures the NPI process meets customer expectations regarding timing and quality.
• Maintains the NPI log to track the status of NPI projects against customer request dates and company promised dates.
• Proactively updates team members on schedule issues and concerns.
• Drives the development activities until formal transition to operations is complete.
• A minimum of 6 years of Project Management experience or a combination of 6 years in Project Management and Project Engineering experience with technical product development projects.
• At least 6 years of experience in phase gate development and integrated master scheduling (IMS).
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
