Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the overall performance of contracts and ensure effective service delivery.

• Act as the main point of contact between USDA and contractor management.

• Supervise staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and contract deliverables.

• Facilitate status meetings and conduct executive briefings.

• Assess contract risks and implement necessary corrective measures.

• Ensure adherence to contract stipulations, service level agreements (SLAs), and federal regulations.

• Evaluate and authorize project plans, reports, and deliverables.

• Oversee the performance of subcontractors when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, Public Administration, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in managing large-scale IT or federal programs.

• At least 5 years of experience in managing federal government contracts.

• Must be able to acquire and maintain USDA Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credentials.

• Must successfully complete all mandated federal background checks and suitability evaluations.

• Proven experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams.

• Background in supporting federal agencies.

• Familiarity with contract performance management and reporting.

• Experience in facilitating executive-level meetings and presentations.

• Understanding of federal IT governance and program management practices.

• PMP certification is preferred.

• Capacity to obtain and maintain USDA credentials and access requirements.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
