This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and assessment of communications, marketing, and advertising initiatives to support SAMHSA's 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline Awareness campaign.
• Set and manage program goals, objectives, performance metrics, and timelines for deliverables.
• Administer program budgets and financial resources effectively.
• Lead and coordinate teams across various functions, including media, marketing, creative production, web development, and outreach.
• Ensure adherence to contract stipulations throughout the execution phase.
• Work closely with SAMHSA's 988 Communications Team and federal partners to ensure program activities align with public health objectives and yield measurable results.
• A Master's degree in communications, public health, marketing, business administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in program or project management.
• Proven track record in planning, developing, executing, and evaluating extensive communications, marketing, or public awareness campaigns.
• Established ability to oversee and manage multiple programs or projects concurrently, including directing managers and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in setting and managing program goals, objectives, performance metrics, budgets, and timelines for deliverables.
• Knowledge of federal contracting environments, including compliance, reporting obligations, and collaboration with Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs).
• Familiarity with various communications program components such as paid media, marketing, graphics, website design, video production, outreach, market research, and/or analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing and presenting status updates, project plans, and performance documentation for government stakeholders.
• Adept at managing risk, adjusting strategies in response to changing program priorities, and ensuring program continuity within a dynamic public health context.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance (Tier II).
