This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii, +1 more state.
• Establish the financial objectives and targets for the program.
• Develop and oversee program budgets.
• Evaluate progress in relation to the program baseline, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Create, manage, and improve financial forecasts, budgets, and Estimates at Complete (EAC).
• Prepare and review quarterly EACs, Annual Operating Plans, and Long Range Plans.
• Oversee financial activities throughout the program and project life cycles across Task Orders.
• Assist with monthly financial closing processes and lead variance analysis.
• Formulate and monitor Work Breakdown Structures alongside associated financial control processes.
• Supervise financial activities related to subcontracting and Intercompany Work Orders.
• Engage in invoicing, reconciliation, and obtaining stakeholder approvals.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and quantitative representations of program performance.
• Act as a liaison between program teams and project execution teams.
• Collaborate with program managers, finance, contracts, procurement, operations, and technical staff.
• Contribute to proposal development through cost modeling, cost volume assistance, business case preparation, and pricing evaluations.
• Promote innovation, automation, and process enhancements.
• Assist with ad hoc requests from both internal and external clients.
• Bachelor’s degree with 4–8 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 2–6 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with various contract types (CPAF, CPFF, T&M, and hybrid) within a government contracting context.
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong skills in PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
• Experience with Power BI, PowerPivot, and SQL; willing to learn Python.
• Extensive knowledge of Insight, including upload forms, drill-through forms, and ad hoc analysis.
• Proficient in writing queries for Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
• Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles, such as revenue recognition, project control, BOEs, cost accounting, journal entries, and financial statement analysis.
• Experience in invoicing support, accruals, revenue forecasts, variance analysis, and contract deliverables.
• Exceptional analytical abilities with the capacity to conduct both high-level and detailed analysis.
• Keen attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Customer-centric mindset.
• Experience in redesigning business processes to enhance efficiency.
• Preferred: Basic or intermediate knowledge of Python or similar programming experience.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Leidos tools such as Costpoint, Fusion, Cognos, SLATE, SCOPE, SCAR, and BART.
• Preferred: Experience in FP&A.
• Preferred: Knowledge of contract setup procedures.
• Preferred: Understanding of EVM concepts.
• Preferred: Experience with AI models and prompt engineering.
