This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the master tracker and governance schedule for all advisory services accounts and pipelines.

• Guarantee that every deliverable is completed on schedule, meets specifications, and stays within budget.

• Lead the execution of pharmaceutical tentpole activations.

• Oversee vendor management, budget handling, invoicing, MLRO submissions, and client review processes.

• Create client-ready communication materials as the primary author, including annual communication plans, tentpole communication strategies, executive briefing documents, media narratives, status presentations, governance review papers, and activation plans.

• Your initial drafts will be approximately 80% complete, allowing leadership to refine rather than start from scratch.

• Convert strategic direction into actionable briefs for the Communications and Content tactical teams that support social media, content creation, event planning, production, and public relations, ensuring clear context, deadlines, and success criteria for strategic execution.

• Work in collaboration with the Global Head of Strategic Health Partnerships to identify new advisory service opportunities.

• Assist in finalizing new partnerships and onboarding pipeline accounts.

• Your expertise in program management, fluency in MLRO, and ownership of governance are crucial for fulfilling our commitments and securing client renewals.

• You are responsible for daily execution, escalating only issues that genuinely require higher-level input.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in healthcare communications, corporate affairs, pharmaceutical advisory services, or account management.

• Proven experience in drafting client-ready strategic communication documents, especially within the pharmaceutical or highly regulated sectors.

• Outstanding written communication abilities, encompassing strategic documents and succinct executive briefing materials.

• An AI-forward approach with active use of tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to enhance execution speed and improve output quality.

• Senior account leadership background at a reputable healthcare communications agency, such as MSL, M Booth Health, VML Health, Real Chemistry, Edelman Health, Weber Shandwick Health, FleishmanHillard Health, or similar.

• Director-level experience in corporate communications or corporate affairs at a major pharmaceutical organization, including managing complex internal stakeholder relationships.

• Direct experience supporting significant life sciences clients across therapeutic areas like cardiometabolic health, oncology, cardiovascular, neuroscience, or immunology.

• Cross-functional communications experience that includes internal communications, external corporate affairs, executive communications, media relations, or stakeholder engagement.

• Proven track record of managing complex advisory service delivery, including timelines, deliverables, budget oversight, vendor coordination, and subcontractor management.

• Working knowledge of MLR/PRC review processes, FDA OPDP guidelines, and the PhRMA Code.
