This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the Pharmacy Clinical Programs with a programmatic and strategic focus.
β’ Work closely with the Executive Director and other pharmacy leaders to define the vision for clinical services.
β’ Plan and implement new clinical programs.
β’ Collaborate to standardize and enhance medication utilization.
β’ Lead regional committees such as Formulary/Pharmacy and Therapeutics and other related groups.
β’ Create and enforce policies, guidelines, and best practices associated with medication therapy.
β’ Manage the CAP pharmacoeconomic program to ensure cost-effective treatment options.
β’ Formulate strategies to address the impact of drug shortages.
β’ Maintain regular communication with providers, nurses, pharmacists, and other clinical leaders.
β’ Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D.) is required.
β’ Minimum of 6 years of experience in planning and executing pharmacy programs.
β’ At least 10 years of experience in a hospital environment.
β’ Must hold a current Pharmacy license.
β’ Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) certification is necessary.
β’ Preference for candidates with ASHP accredited PGY-1 or PGY-1 and PGY-2 Residencies.
β’ 5 years of experience in Oncology is preferred.
β’ Personal computer usage is approximately 75% of the time.
β’ Required to attend frequent meetings and walk to meeting locations as necessary.
