This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Provide high-level oversight for a portfolio of programs and strategic initiatives, setting priorities, operating rhythms, governance frameworks, and measurable performance objectives.
• Lead and cultivate program managers and cross-functional teams; establish clear accountability, enhance succession planning, and foster a high-performance, inclusive culture.
• Act as a senior interface for customers and stakeholders, developing trusted relationships with government leaders, mission partners, subcontractors, and internal corporate functions.
• Oversee program execution across scope, schedule, cost, quality, staffing, risk, and customer satisfaction; take early action to address complex operational challenges.
• Direct financial planning and performance management, which includes budgets, forecasts, labor and vendor expenses, margin enhancements, and investment decisions.
• Create scalable management processes, dashboards, and executive reporting that facilitate data-driven decision-making and transparent performance evaluations.
• Lead operational transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing quality, speed, efficiency, and mission outcomes, incorporating appropriate automation, analytics, and artificial intelligence.
• Manage subcontractor and vendor performance through structured governance, service-level management, capacity planning, quality controls, and corrective-action protocols.
• Ensure programs operate in compliance with contractual obligations, corporate policies, security obligations, record-keeping requirements, and applicable federal laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Capture, Contracts, Finance, Human Resources, Security, and technical leadership to shape opportunities, support proposals, and transition new awards into execution.
• Contribute to strategic planning, organizational design, workforce planning, and the development of repeatable capabilities that can be applied across customers and programs.
• Represent KGS in customer meetings, industry engagements, executive reviews, and other forums that require sound judgment and effective communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, national security, intelligence studies, technology, or a related field; comparable relevant experience may be accepted.
• 10 or more years of progressively responsible experience in program management, operations, consulting, national security, intelligence, defense, technology, or a closely related field.
• 5 or more years of experience leading managers, multidisciplinary teams, or complex cross-functional programs.
• Proven experience managing significant budgets, operational resources, vendors or subcontractors, and measurable performance commitments.
• Experience supporting U.S. Government clients, preferably within the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, homeland security, or other national security organizations.
• Demonstrated capability to translate complex policy, regulatory, mission, or technical requirements into actionable operating processes.
• Experience in leading organizational change, process improvement, digital transformation, automation, analytics, or AI-driven operational initiatives.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with senior government officials, corporate executives, technical teams, and operational personnel.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, exercise independent judgment, and lead effectively in a dynamic, matrixed organization.
• Active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain required eligibility.
