This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee daily operations related to curriculum development, professional learning, coaching, implementation, and field testing.
• Manage project timelines, implementation schedules, task management systems, milestones, and deliverables.
• Organize project meetings, draft agendas, document notes, track decisions and action items, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Handle logistics for virtual and in-person educator professional learning events, including registration, communication, travel, accommodation, catering, transportation, meeting venues, materials, technology, attendance, and evaluations.
• Provide support to facilitators before, during, and after professional learning events.
• Act as the primary operational contact for participating school districts, coordinating meetings, communications, teacher onboarding, coaching schedules, and addressing routine inquiries.
• Manage curriculum development tasks, including reviewer feedback, revisions, version control, documentation, and digital resources.
• Oversee research and evaluation logistics, such as surveys, consent documentation, observations, implementation calendars, communications, and data collection.
• Assist with budget monitoring, expense reconciliation, consultant payments, teacher stipends, reimbursements, purchasing, contracts, invoices, and program documentation.
• Facilitate internal and external communications through website content, district updates, presentations, board reports, formatting, and proofreading.
• Maintain organized documentation related to projects, curriculum, districts, meetings, professional learning, contracts, and evaluations.
• Identify and implement process enhancements that boost efficiency and consistency.
• Required: Associate's degree in any field.
• Required: A minimum of two years of experience in program, project, or office administration, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
• Experience in K-12 education programs.
• Experience in supporting professional learning for educators.
• Experience in coordinating travel, meetings, or conferences.
• Proficient in preparing reports, presentations, and executive materials.
• Familiarity with STEM education.
• Experience using project management software and collaboration tools such as Asana.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
• Experience with platforms like Zoom, Teams, Canva, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, or similar tools.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting, managing time, prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and maintaining responsiveness and communication.
• Commitment to SSPI’s mission and values.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Background clearance, including potential Level 2 fingerprinting.
• Capability to lift and move materials and navigate stairs for on-site program assistance.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30 days annually within the United States.
• Flexibility to work outside standard business hours during critical program periods such as the Summer Institute or unit launches.
