Program Coordinator – Generation Colombia

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation of training-phase logistics and operational activities for Generation Colombia programs.

• Act as the primary contact for learners, addressing inquiries, tracking requests, and escalating issues as necessary.

• Conduct learner onboarding processes, which include preparation, readiness validation, and documentation of attendance.

• Assist with the daily delivery of programs while monitoring learner experiences and TSP operational execution.

• Identify, document, troubleshoot, and aid in the resolution of operational risks and issues.

• Monitor learner progress, engagement, and outcomes using tracking tools and interim performance reports.

• Implement the distribution processes for learner stipends and resources, including laptops, internet access, cameras, and financial support.

• Oversee resource utilization and ensure compliance with program policies.

• Facilitate mentorship initiatives, monitor participation, identify dropout risks, and enhance retention and graduation rates.

• Engage in weekly calls to address learner outcomes and strategize additional support.

• Conduct periodic TSP performance evaluations and track academic and operational KPIs.

• Perform check-ins with TSP teams regarding progress, risks, instructional quality, and learner performance.

• Identify and escalate TSP risks and performance deficiencies while supporting corrective action planning.

• Coordinate the logistics of complementary formative workshops with partner companies.

• Assist in cohort risk analysis and individual learner readiness assessments.

• Support employability initiatives and facilitate the transition to the placement team.

• Prepare learners for placement by ensuring comprehensive data, profiles, and readiness.

• Aid in event planning and employability engagement activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in any field with a strong academic background.

• 3-5 years of experience in program coordination, ideally within a nonprofit, start-up, or social enterprise setting.

• Proficiency in both Spanish and English, in speaking and writing.

• Experience in developing program procedures and resources.

• Proven ability to manage teams, oversee project tasks, and coordinate with stakeholders.

• Results-oriented approach with the capability to develop metrics/analytics and measure success.

• Ability to work independently while also being an effective team collaborator.

• Commitment to Generation’s mission, ideally with experience serving disadvantaged communities.

• Demonstrated dedication to equity and social impact initiatives.

• Willingness to travel to Generation sites as required by the program.
