This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Independently establish timelines and objectives for extensive Autonomous Vehicle development projects and/or other significant initiatives requiring collaboration across multiple departments.
• Oversee program timelines and monitor the status of deliverables from the Product Definition phase through to Launch for one or more Autonomous Vehicle programs.
• Identify dependencies among tasks and program teams to ensure ongoing alignment.
• Manage the financial health of assigned platforms: set budget baselines, forecast expenses, and track spending throughout the program's lifecycle, while recognizing financial variances or risks and implementing mitigation strategies to enhance resource allocation.
• Anticipate potential risks and collaborate with stakeholders to identify and execute mitigation plans.
• Communicate with partners to synchronize program plans and escalate vehicle issues.
• Implement and manage changes as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
• Present progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting issues and proposed solutions.
• Advocate for the prioritization of safety and quality.
• Assist Engineering leaders in the continuous enhancement of the vehicle development and program management processes.
• Build and maintain relationships across various functions to ensure effective communication and smooth follow-through.
• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering or Product Development field.
• 7-10 years of program management experience with complex products.
• A strong enthusiasm for both process-oriented and people-focused solutions, along with exceptional organizational skills.
• PMP Certification (Preferred).
• Experience with ADAS or Vehicle Control products (Preferred).
• Previous experience at a high-growth, mission-driven startup (Preferred).
• Experience with Automotive OEMs or Suppliers (Preferred).
