This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee the calendar of the HARP Executive Director and other members of the executive team.
β’ Organize meetings for HARP team members, key consultants, and advisory groups.
β’ Document meeting notes and track essential follow-up tasks.
β’ Handle logistics for both in-person and virtual meetings and events.
β’ Assist with travel arrangements for HARP team members, including booking flights and hotel accommodations, as well as supporting the submission of expense reports.
β’ Aid in the onboarding process for new vendors, consultants, and staff members.
β’ Communicate effectively with HARPβs Board of Directors and Advisory Committee, as well as external partners and stakeholders.
β’ Maintain important organizational documents (e.g., charters, organizational charts, etc.).
β’ Manage internal project management and tracking tools (e.g., contact lists and tools for tracking key conferences, events, and achievements).
β’ Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.
β’ Provide additional administrative support as necessary.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative or operations role; experience in nonprofit, policy, or government sectors is essential.
β’ Exceptional organizational abilities and a proven history of working independently on projects while also supporting team initiatives and collaborative efforts.
β’ Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
β’ Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Zoom, and LinkedIn.
β’ Familiarity with Asana or similar project management software.
β’ Capable of communicating with a diverse group of stakeholders, including senior-level professionals, national experts, policymakers across various political perspectives, formerly incarcerated individuals, and staff with corrections experience, while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
β’ Interest and/or experience, including lived expertise, in policies related to incarceration, corrections, public safety, and the role of healthcare for individuals transitioning from incarceration.
β’ Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, growth-focused remote work environment.
β’ Willingness to travel for occasional in-person staff meetings.
