This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Strategically plan, analyze, and assess the effectiveness of operational programs utilizing both qualitative and quantitative analytical methods.
• Leverage source data to evaluate the efficacy of programs and business processes, identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities for enhancement.
• Manipulate and present program data to effectively communicate program status to stakeholders and leadership.
• Utilize clinical informatics expertise to evaluate program operations and suggest improvements that align with VA healthcare objectives.
• Create and maintain program performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting products.
• Assist in business process improvement initiatives by analyzing current workflows and contributing to the design of future workflows.
• Prepare and present comprehensive written reports, briefings, and presentations that convey analysis results and program recommendations.
• Collaborate with program team members, subject matter experts, and government clients to collect and validate data.
• Aid in the formulation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and program documentation.
• Engage in working groups, team meetings, and program reviews as assigned.
• Bachelor's Degree in Health Informatics, Business Administration, Public Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in program analysis, business analysis, or a comparable role, with pertinent clinical informatics experience in a Veterans Administration healthcare environment.
• Proven experience utilizing data to assess program effectiveness and assist in decision-making processes.
• Familiarity with program planning, analysis, and evaluation methodologies relevant to federal health IT programs.
• Capability to use source data and analytical tools for measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of programs and business processes.
• Expertise in qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques; experience with data visualization and reporting.
• Relevant clinical informatics experience within a Veterans Administration healthcare context.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis/visualization tools.
• Ability to clearly and accurately manipulate and present program data to diverse audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing professional reports and executive-level briefings.
