Program Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• You ensure that intricate programs operate seamlessly by managing RAID logs, dependency registers, and status reports that consistently provide the team and senior stakeholders with a transparent and accurate overview.

• You create and maintain delivery forecasts and workback schedules for various concurrent workstreams, promptly reforecasting as priorities change.

• You assist Program and Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and dependency mapping, transforming dynamic components into a cohesive, actionable plan.

• You oversee program budgets across Capex, Opex, forecasts, and run rates—monitoring actuals against approved business cases and funding limits, identifying cost discrepancies, and analyzing financial risks.

• You facilitate financial modeling for program decisions and investment prioritization, ensuring that the underlying numbers for every decision are precise and well-understood.

• You promote communication among engineering, infrastructure, product, finance, and vendor teams, ensuring that consistent and accurate information flows between delivery teams and program leadership to prevent miscommunication.

• You prepare materials for the Board and Executive levels, including status dashboards and briefing packs that are clear, accurate, and customized for the audience.

• You coordinate governance forums, steering committees, and working groups—documenting decisions, actions, and outcomes to enable the team to operate swiftly and confidently.

• You identify trends and patterns in program data early, highlighting delivery risks and opportunities before they escalate into issues.

• You develop trusted relationships with stakeholders throughout the program, communicating proactively and honoring every commitment.

• You apply EPMO frameworks, tools, and templates consistently, contributing to a high-quality, repeatable delivery model that can be scaled across programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in project or program analysis within technology environments, particularly supporting large transformation or platform migration initiatives.

• Familiarity with structured delivery frameworks (Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, Hybrid).

• Strong comprehension of program governance structures, risk management frameworks, delivery lifecycle management, and executive reporting standards.

• Proven ability to solve problems, learn quickly, and adapt to shifting circumstances.

• Effectiveness in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.

• A passion for tackling significant challenges and seeing them through to completion.

• An aptitude for clear communication, consultation, and consideration of others.

• A preference for a (VERY) fast-paced environment.
