Professional Services Consultant – Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Become a part of our team as a Professional Services Consultant, an essential position dedicated to the technical design, implementation, and adoption of the New Relic Observability platform for our key customers.

• Act as the technical authority, converting intricate customer requirements into effective, scalable, and automated Observability solutions.

• Close the gap between our product capabilities and the customer's modern, frequently cloud-native, application and infrastructure settings.

• Design solutions that apply best practices in Platform Engineering, integrating New Relic smoothly into their CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and internal developer platforms to enhance comprehensive observability.

• Evaluate success by the level of technical value achieved and the long-term strategic adoption of the platform throughout customer organizations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience in a technical consulting, solutions architecture, or senior engineering role, with a focus on cloud and application performance technologies.

• Demonstrated extensive expertise in core Platform Engineering principles, including the development and maintenance of automated, self-service infrastructure and delivery pipelines.

• Profound knowledge in Automation, Scripting (e.g., Python), and CI/CD methodologies and tools. Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly regarded.

• Exceptional understanding and hands-on experience with Observability concepts (The Three Pillars) and products (New Relic, Datadog, Dynatrace, etc.) is critically important.

• Practical experience in designing and implementing solutions on leading cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities with a knack for influencing senior technical stakeholders and reaching consensus on complex technical architectures.
