This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• In the role of Product Data Consultant, you will guarantee the delivery of our product data with exceptional quality, consistency, and scalability.
• You will operate at the intersection of Content, IT, partners, and business units, actively facilitating the transition from manual to automated product data processes, with a clear emphasis on B2C.
• Your responsibilities will include assisting Content Managers and external partners in creating, maintaining, and enhancing efficient, semi-automated processes for enriching and updating product master data.
• You will serve as the primary contact point for both internal and external stakeholders concerning product data processes.
• Your role will involve analyzing current structures, identifying opportunities for optimization, and collaborating with business units to establish specific measures.
• You will ensure the quality of data received through interfaces and initiate necessary corrective actions in the event of discrepancies.
• Your contributions will include the development of processes for error detection, prevention, and data validation (consistency and plausibility).
• You will play a key role in the continuous development of our central product data system, particularly in areas of automated error detection, derivations, and notifications.
• Your responsibilities will also include documenting processes and enhancements while collaborating closely with adjacent teams.
• A degree or relevant vocational training in commerce/administration, accompanied by significant professional experience, preferably in e-commerce or product data settings.
• An analytical mindset with a high level of proficiency in Excel (including conditional formulas, lookups, and analyses).
• Experience in handling data and a fundamental understanding of interfaces and data flows.
• Ideally, familiarity with electronic data interchange (API, EDI).
• Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• A structured and independent work approach, along with strong communication skills.
• A collaborative team player with a solution-oriented and proactive mentality.
• Proficient in German and possess good English language skills.
