Professional Oncology Coder

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze medical records to identify relevant diagnoses and procedures

• Ensure accurate assignment of Diagnosis-Related Groups (DRG)

• Code charts in real-time during the assigned shift

• Seek clarification from physicians regarding documentation as needed

• Engage in team meetings and participate in training sessions

• Stay updated with Coding Clinic and other coding standards

⛳️ Requirements

• Certification in CPC, COC, CIC, CCA, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, or RHIA

• Minimum of 3 years of Profee Coding experience

• At least 3 years of experience in Oncology Profee coding

• Proficient in using EPIC with 3M 360 software

• Capability to code diagnoses, Evaluation & Management (E&M), and CPTs

• In-depth understanding of ICD-10-CM, CPS, and CPT coding principles

• Must successfully complete a coding proficiency assessment
