Profee Coder – Multi-specialty

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess clinical documentation to assign and order diagnostic and procedural codes

• Verify APC calculations to ensure accurate capture of diagnoses and procedures

• Uphold stringent patient and provider confidentiality in line with HIPAA regulations

• Engage in client and staff meetings, training sessions, and conference calls as needed

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of recent and relevant hands-on coding experience

• An active credential from AHIMA (American Health Information Association) or an active credential from AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders)

• Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, pathophysiology, as well as ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS coding systems

• Strong computer skills including MS Office with the capability to enter data, as well as sort and filter Excel files
