Professional Engineer – Structural Forensics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough forensic investigations into structural failures, collapses, and construction defects.

• Carry out site inspections and collect pertinent data to support forensic evaluations.

• Apply engineering principles and practices to analyze and evaluate structural concerns.

• Create clear and concise technical reports that detail findings and conclusions.

• Provide expert testimony in legal cases when necessary.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, codes, and standards related to structural engineering.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

• Experience providing expert testimony in legal proceedings is advantageous.
