This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Execute thorough forensic investigations related to structural damage, defects, failures, evaluations of moisture intrusion, premises liability claims, and assessments of roofs.
• Conduct on-site inspections and collect pertinent data for forensic analysis.
• Utilize engineering principles and methodologies to evaluate and address structural concerns.
• Draft clear and concise technical reports that detail findings and conclusions.
• Offer expert testimony during legal proceedings when necessary.
• Remain updated on trends, codes, and standards within the structural engineering field.
• A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Must possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Strong expertise in civil or structural engineering.
• Prior experience in forensic engineering is advantageous.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines.
• Experience providing expert testimony in legal matters is a bonus.
• Must meet the qualifications of a U.S. Person under ITAR export controls: U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
