This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +2 more states.
β’ Execute comprehensive forensic investigations related to structural failures, collapses, and construction defects.
β’ Conduct site inspections and collect pertinent data to facilitate forensic analysis.
β’ Apply engineering principles and methodologies to evaluate and address structural concerns.
β’ Develop clear and succinct technical reports that detail findings and conclusions.
β’ Offer expert testimony in legal matters when necessary.
β’ Remain updated on industry trends, codes, and standards pertinent to structural engineering.
β’ Additional responsibilities as assigned.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
β’ Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Louisiana (licensure in other states is advantageous!).
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
β’ Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
β’ Experience providing expert testimony in legal situations is a plus.
