Professional Engineer – Civil/Structural – Forensic

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Execute thorough forensic investigations of structural failures, collapses, and construction defects.

• Conduct site inspections and collect pertinent data to aid forensic analysis.

• Apply engineering principles and practices to evaluate and diagnose structural issues.

• Create clear and concise technical reports detailing findings and conclusions.

• Offer expert testimony in legal matters when necessary.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, codes, and standards pertinent to structural engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Louisiana (licensure in other states is a bonus!).

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines.

• Experience providing expert testimony in legal proceedings is advantageous.
