Civil Engineer – Innovation & Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for developing the infrastructure essential for the next generation of sustainable road power plants and will oversee the entire development process up to international implementation.

• Product development: Create innovative infrastructure components and structural solutions for cutting-edge ClimateTech technology.

• Structural design: Generate structural calculations and size components to withstand demanding dynamic loads during daily operations.

• Design & documentation: Create technical drawings, manufacturing documentation, and scalable concepts for installation and implementation.

• Interdisciplinary development: Collaborate closely with teams in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and hydraulics to devise integrated technical solutions.

• Materials & standards: Assess appropriate materials, consider applicable standards, and guarantee compliance with relevant safety regulations.

• Prototyping & validation: Assist in the development process from initial concepts through prototypes and testing phases to real pilot projects.

• Certification: Aid in the preparation of ISO and CE certifications, which includes technical documentation and the collection of evidence.

• Project coordination: Coordinate with manufacturing partners, suppliers, construction companies, and public project stakeholders, providing support for implementation.

• Technical responsibility: Assume technical support and coordination for pilot installations and customer projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in civil engineering, structural engineering, or infrastructure development.

• Proficient in structural analysis software such as ANSYS, SAP2000, or similar programs.

• Experience with 2D and/or 3D CAD software, including AutoCAD or SolidWorks.

• Familiarity with preparing ISO and CE certifications.

• Business-fluent German skills at a minimum C1 level to facilitate effective communication.

• Strong analytical thinking and a structured, solution-oriented work style.

• A self-motivated personality with a hands-on approach and a passion for a dynamic startup environment.

• Ideally, you also possess startup experience, strong English language skills, and an interest in sustainable infrastructure and ClimateTech.
