Professional Billing Coder – Vascular Surgery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the precise coding of professional services pertaining to vascular procedures.

• Aids in maintaining compliant billing practices and enhances revenue integrity alongside audit preparedness.

• Assigns correct CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM codes for vascular surgical procedures.

• Evaluates operative and procedural documentation to ensure coding accuracy and completeness.

• Utilizes appropriate modifiers and NCCI edits as necessary.

• Guarantees compliance with CMS, AMA, and payer regulations.

• Upholds accuracy and productivity benchmarks in a high-volume setting.

• Assists with internal audits and initiatives for quality improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2+ years of experience in professional billing coding.

• Demonstrated experience in coding for vascular surgery.

• In-depth knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, modifiers, and NCCI edits.

• CPC or a comparable certification is preferred.

• Experience in hospital-based professional billing is strongly preferred.
