This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the development and live execution of on-air scoreboard graphics (Score Bug/Clock and Score) and content during live sports events.
• Guarantee the precise and timely presentation of live game data, including but not limited to score, time, penalties, team/player statistics, and other relevant information.
• Diagnose system issues and collaborate closely with production teams.
• Input scoring information swiftly and accurately, including any additional content associated with the Score Bug/Clock and Score.
• Collaborate effectively with the Producer and Associate Producer in designing interface graphics.
• Verify Score Bug equipment prior to live broadcasts (check communications, tallies, and ensure the score bug activates and displays on screen).
• Assemble and connect multiple computer scoring systems.
• Resolve system issues and provide prompt diagnosis and solutions.
• Connect to the stadium's in-house scoreboard for clock and data transfer when necessary.
• Deliver detailed post-game reports to the Software Engineering team following each event.
• Possession of a valid Driver’s License.
• Fundamental knowledge of sports, including game format and rules.
• Capability to track the game and recognize in-game trends.
• Meticulous attention to detail to achieve 100 percent accuracy.
• Clear, concise, and thorough verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capacity to work effectively within a team environment, maintaining visibility and approachability.
• Conduct oneself with professionalism and integrity in adherence to company guidelines and policies.
• Adaptable, flexible, and driven to achieve results in dynamic environments.
• Strong computer skills with networking and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Self-driven individual focused on continuously enhancing processes through new or more efficient technological applications.
• Provide technical maintenance for assigned systems and components.
• Excellent self-management and time management skills.
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a live production setting.
• Willingness to work weekends, nights, holidays, and travel as necessary.
• Advanced understanding of television production.
• Extensive sports knowledge, including historical context (preferred).
• Previous experience in a statistics or graphics role (preferred).
• Familiarity with various television graphics platforms (preferred).
• Advanced technical skills in computer networking and file management (preferred).
