Production Support Content Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Edit a range of projects from basic to standard using Avid technology, Adobe After Effects, and various other editing platforms.

• Staff daily sessions for designated projects, which include features, teases, and packages.

• Carry out media ingest/output, file conversions, media distribution, and quality control tasks.

• Promptly identify and report any technical issues encountered.

• Effectively manage time and resources to meet deadlines.

• Fulfill administrative duties, such as time entry, daily shift reports, compliance training, and Performance Connection requirements.

• Adhere to departmental Standard Operating Procedures.

• Embrace advancements in technology and new workflow concepts.

• Develop the necessary editing knowledge and skills for the craft.

• Engage in bi-monthly clinical workshops.

• Contribute to various scheduled special projects and assignments.

• Utilize interpersonal and professional communication skills to ensure client satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid Driver’s License is required.

• At least 2 years of experience in Non-Linear editing is necessary.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.

• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Willingness to travel as needed.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• Preferred skills include the ability to craft engaging visual stories using SOT, pacing, and narrative structure.

• Preferred ability to work independently and creatively without direct producer supervision.

• Preferred experience in video editing on Avid, Final Cut, Premiere, or Quantel platforms.

• Preferred knowledge of editing file structures, broadcast measurements, and A/V formats.

• Preferred understanding of graphics creation, color correction, and audio production theory and aesthetics.

• Preferred capability to thrive in a team environment and foster positive relationships through collaboration.

• Preferred ability to deliver exceptional customer service.

• General knowledge of sports is preferred.
