Product Training Specialist

📋 Description

• Deliver training and support to enhance Carrier distribution across North America.

• Travel is required (1-2 weeks per month) to Carrier Distributors to instruct their staff and customers on the design, installation, and maintenance of the i-Vu® solutions we provide.

• Conduct training sessions at the Training Center located in Kennesaw, GA for the Carrier channel.

• Facilitate training for various user levels, including installers and engineers, on Carrier’s i-Vu® control system, hardware, and software.

• Foster an open learning environment for students at all levels of HVAC, DDC, and energy management.

• Understand and create task-based exercises based on highly technical content.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in presenting, educating, or training within a technical environment.

• Willingness to travel for 1 week per month within the United States.

• Valid Driver's License.

• Experience in training related to HVAC, Building Automation Systems, or the DDC (Direct Digital Controls) field.

• Familiarity with the equipment involved in a control system, including hardware, networks, and software, and comfort with technical subjects.

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and lighting systems that commercial controls would interface with.

• Proven ability in delivering complex learning solutions.

• Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal.

• Proficiency in Spanish or French is a plus.

• Exhibit professionalism and credibility.

• Strong problem-solving and business acumen capabilities.

• Consulting skills with excellent interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation abilities.

• Experience in coaching and mentoring others, as well as the ability to challenge and influence peers and clients.

• Understanding of instructional design theories, methodologies, and best practices, including interactive teaching methods, and the ability to speak confidently to an audience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint).

• Project management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.

• Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) for eLearning distribution.

• Knowledge of Carrier i-Vu® or Automated Logic WebCTRL® products and their applications.
