This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of defining and strategizing the core services for the Life and Annuities platform, encompassing quoting, underwriting, policy administration, cash management, and investment management modules.
• Convert extensive Life and Annuities domain expertise into scalable and configurable platform functionalities for clients across the globe.
• Establish and advocate for the product vision and strategy regarding core Life and Annuities services.
• Develop and uphold a prioritized roadmap that aligns with strategic goals, market potential, and customer demands.
• Lead the creation and communication of detailed product specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Examine the competitive landscape to pinpoint gaps and opportunities within EIS offerings.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, UX/UI design, sales, and customer success teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Collect and utilize market intelligence, customer insights, and usage data to guide product direction.
• Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to comprehend their needs, transform them into roadmap initiatives, and facilitate consensus.
• Partner with product marketing and sales enablement teams on positioning, messaging, value propositions, and sales materials.
• Assist market-facing activities by leveraging product expertise.
• Over 10 years of professional experience.
• A minimum of 5 years in the insurance sector, ideally within Life and Annuities.
• At least 5 years of experience working with insurance technology platforms or transformation projects.
• A minimum of 4 years of direct experience with Life and Annuity processes and systems.
• Proven track record in defining product strategies and launching complex software products or platforms, preferably in a SaaS or cloud-native environment.
• Strong knowledge of Policy Administration Systems (PAS), billing, claims, cash/treasury management, or investment accounting in the insurance field.
• Outstanding strategic thinking, decision-making, and analytical abilities.
• Capacity to develop business cases, assess market opportunities, and prioritize initiatives using data-driven insights.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and achieve consensus among distributed, global, cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated with a proactive mindset and a strong sense of ownership.
• Comfortable balancing strategic planning with daily tactical execution.
