This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify products or programs through the FedRAMP (Joint Authorization Board or Agency) authorization process.
• Public Sector Cloud: Recognizing secure and scalable solutions designed for U.S. Federal agencies or highly regulated sovereign entities.
• Capability to ensure that product engineering solutions align with and fulfill NIST SP 800-53, FIPS requirements, and the FedRAMP Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) framework.
• Problem Solving: Ability to convert customer requirements into innovative technical solutions that comply with stringent regulatory mandates while maintaining platform performance and usability.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager Public Sector Compliance to outline strategic roadmaps and assist in the complete product lifecycle.
• Offer product architectural guidance for Vultr's public sector cloud product roadmap.
• Public Sector Go-To-Market Strategy: Collaborating with sales and marketing to assist with RFPs and briefings, providing tailored value propositions for government customers.
• Customer & Market Requirements Management: Prioritizing needs from government agencies and system integrators into actionable product requirement documents (PRDs).
• 1 to 3 years of experience specifically managing products within the FedRAMP, GovRAMP, or IL4/IL5 ecosystem.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of cloud security architecture, zero-trust principles, and automated compliance tools.
• Communication: Ability to articulate "Gov-speak" and security requirements into clear technical specifications for developers.
• Experience as a customer advocate for features that specifically address government pain points, such as Identity and Access Management (IAM) integrations for PIV/CAC cards or specialized storage for CJIS/ITAR data.
• Experience in ensuring that the product roadmap includes offline documentation, local API mirrors, and manual update mechanisms that Sovereign Cloud customers need to maintain their digital sovereignty.
