
Product Specialist β Digital Pathology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
β’ Serve as the Digital Pathology product specialist for designated accounts and regions.
β’ Collaborate closely with field sales teams to drive opportunities through the sales pipeline.
β’ Lead valuable pre-sales activities, including customer consultations, workflow evaluations, technical presentations, and product demonstrations.
β’ Assist and engage in commercial negotiations.
β’ Interact directly with pathologists, laboratory directors, clinical leaders, pharma/biopharma researchers, IT departments, and healthcare administrators to align solutions with customer objectives.
β’ Offer expert insights on digital transformation, image management, AI-enabled pathology workflows, and laboratory integration.
β’ Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Field Applications, Field Service Engineers, Marketing, and Implementation teams.
β’ Maintain discipline at the opportunity level.
β’ Conduct customer workshops, training sessions, and provide go-live support as necessary.
β’ Represent Agilent as a technical sales authority at customer gatherings, professional events, and industry forums.
β’ Bachelor's degree in a Life Sciences field.
β’ Over 8 years of experience in digital pathology, pathology imaging, or sales/specialist roles in healthcare software/hardware.
β’ Familiarity with LIS, IMS, digital pathology scanners, or image management platforms.
β’ Solid hands-on understanding of pathology workflows and technologies, including H&E, IHC, microscopy, whole-slide imaging, and AI-enabled applications.
β’ Proven experience in supporting complex, solution-based sales.
β’ Demonstrated ability to influence a variety of stakeholders and establish credibility with both customers and internal teams.
β’ Comfortable working in a player/coach model.
β’ Proficient with Salesforce.com or similar CRM and digital sales tools.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
