This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +18 more states.
• Evaluate new vulnerabilities, determine exploitability and business risk, and suggest prioritized remediation strategies.
• Perform risk-based assessments of vulnerability exposure and create data-driven prioritization frameworks that align with the organization's risk tolerance.
• Implement and oversee tools for detecting and monitoring assets across various cloud environments and data centers.
• Develop and sustain vulnerability management KPIs and convey the security posture to both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Leverage the latest Falcon features to enhance security posture and provide direct feedback to product teams.
• Create tools to address complex security challenges.
• U.S. citizenship or Permanent Residency, working exclusively from U.S. soil.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in a security role focusing on the implementation and support of security systems.
• Ability to excel in a highly autonomous work setting.
• Capability to research CVEs, evaluate exploit availability, and utilize threat intelligence to comprehend the real-world impact of vulnerabilities beyond published severity ratings.
• Strong scripting and development skills in one or more common scripting languages, such as Python, Golang, Ruby, Chef, etc.
• Demonstrated experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, product, and leadership teams to negotiate remediation timelines and communicate risk in a business context.
• Experience with Linux or other Unix-like systems, cloud platforms (GCP), and highly concurrent systems.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized applications.
• Experience collaborating with developers regarding security vulnerability impacts and remediation efforts.
• Practical experience with the Falcon platform.
• Experience in assessing software supply chain risks, open-source vulnerabilities, and third-party dependencies to inform risk-based prioritization decisions.
• Willingness to periodically undergo and pass additional background and fingerprint checks in accordance with government customer requirements.
