Lead Instructor – Cybersecurity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare and conduct virtual classroom sessions for groups ranging from 200 to over 8,000 learners.

• Provide instruction in mathematics, verbal reasoning, and technical problem-solving tailored to the needs of learners.

• Oversee class-time Q&A, manage chat interactions, maintain class energy, and enhance learner engagement.

• Collaborate with Correlation One operations staff to ensure effective program delivery and adherence to schedules.

• Participate in classes during weekdays and/or weekends as program schedules may vary.

• Assist in the design, development, and enhancement of lesson plans and curriculum.

• Prepare thoroughly for lectures and deliver top-quality content.

• Modify lesson pace and presentation style to accommodate diverse learners while ensuring timely content delivery.

• Simplify complex topics to promote accessibility and maintain high levels of learner engagement.

• Communicate courteously and maintain consistent contact with personnel from Correlation One.

• Cultivate a positive learning atmosphere.

• Provide constructive feedback aimed at course improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in the Cybersecurity sector or a related field.

• A degree in a technical discipline.

• CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent certifications (e.g., CISM).

• Prior teaching experience, preferably in a remote setting.

• Proven experience in training learners on foundational technical skills.

• A dedicated educator with a strong passion for teaching and assisting others.

• Exceptional team collaboration and people management abilities.

• Familiarity with the Unix terminal, particularly in relation to cybersecurity applications.

• Knowledge of Networking, Kali Linux, Endpoint security, CompTIA Security+ Certification training, and Triage.
