This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Achieve and surpass designated annual sales targets.
• Cultivate expertise in products and markets to effectively present and conduct meetings with potential clients.
• Work collaboratively with the Account team on a regular basis to establish a customer target list and develop a territory sales strategy plan with each Account Executive to meet sales quotas and corporate goals.
• Communicate promptly and effectively with prospects, customers, project leads, and within the Sales team.
• Offer timely insights to sales peers, sales leadership, product management, and marketing regarding emerging industry trends, innovative product ideas, and competitive intelligence.
• Influence product and marketing strategies based on customer feedback.
• Create customized solution proposals and contractual agreements.
• Compile periodic sales reports that highlight sales volume, potential opportunities, and client-based growth.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in P&C insurance and/or product sales support within a complex sales environment, focusing on selling solutions and services to property casualty insurance writers.
• Demonstrated consistent success in sales roles, including exceeding quotas and account objectives.
• Proven successful track record in insurance software, data, and/or predictive modeling software solutions is advantageous.
• Self-motivated individual with substantial pre-sales or consulting experience in enterprise accounts and a history of sales strategy, industry knowledge, and organizational leadership.
• Exhibit a structured approach to selling, with the ability to guide effective prospecting and sell based on business value.
• Capable of navigating complex organizations using a trusted advisor/consultative approach.
• Skilled in securing buy-in from a diverse array of business stakeholders, technical teams, peers, and project managers.
• Strong discovery skills, focused on understanding a customer's needs, pain points, and desired future state to prepare a well-tailored customer presentation.
• Exceptional listening abilities and adaptability to interact with individuals across various organizational levels and functional areas.
• Experience in building relationships with a wide range of decision influencers and the capacity to coordinate and gain support from internal stakeholders and motivators, including company executives.
• Ability to assess the customer decision-making process and influence key decision-makers.
• Experience in a team selling environment.
• Proficient in MS Office and Salesforce.com.
• Comfortable and proactive in utilizing AI tools to enhance sales effectiveness, demonstrating curiosity, experimentation, and a commitment to continuous improvement in go-to-market strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university is preferred.
• Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time.
