Product Safety Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Proactively contribute to the advancement of safety-critical ADAS and automated driving functionalities through expert consulting and engineering support.

• Perform gap analyses, reviews, assessments, evaluations, and audits.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, industry best practices, and compliance requirements.

• Deliver practical coaching to our clients in the development and approval processes for safety-critical products at the system, hardware, and software levels.

• Utilize both technical and interpersonal skills across various roles as needed, including technical consultant, safety engineer, process developer, facilitator, and coach.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or a related technical discipline.

• Several years of experience in software or hardware development for embedded systems.

• Familiarity with ADAS and automated driving functions is a plus.

• Experience in consulting and coaching on these subjects in both German and English.

• Strong understanding of safety methodologies: HARA, TARA, FTA, FMEA/FMEDA, DFA, STPA, etc.

• Good knowledge of ISO 26262, ISO 21448 (SOTIF), and ISO 21434.

• Essential soft skills include a pragmatic, structured, communicative, and customer-focused approach to work.

• Willingness to assist and empower a diverse range of clients.

• Eagerness to contribute to the expansion of FSQ Experts' knowledge base in areas such as cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.

• Capacity for self-organization with outstanding project and time management abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Full professional proficiency in both German and English (minimum C1 level in each).
