Product Readiness Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee cross-functional product readiness efforts for designated new product launches and significant releases, ensuring that plans, responsible parties, timelines, and interdependencies are well-documented and monitored.

• Develop and sustain readiness plans, status reports, and milestone tracking to offer timely insights into launch advancement and potential risks.

• Collaborate with Product & Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Support, Services, and Partner teams to synchronize launch requirements, internal readiness initiatives, and operational dependencies.

• Monitor the completion of essential launch readiness deliverables such as training materials, release notifications, FAQs, support readiness, partner preparedness, and updates to internal processes.

• Lead regular readiness meetings, document action items, follow up on commitments, and escalate any blockers or risks to the Director of Product Readiness as necessary.

• Assist with go/no-go readiness evaluations by compiling feedback from stakeholder teams to ensure leaders have a clear understanding of launch status, outstanding issues, and dependencies.

• Aid in tracking readiness metrics and launch results, identifying opportunities to enhance launch processes, templates, tools, and team collaboration.

• Support transitions to post-launch owners, including ComX where relevant, to facilitate continuity from launch readiness to commercialization and adoption efforts.

• Contribute to the consistent application of the Product Readiness Office's operating model, standards, templates, and governance practices across various launches.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Project/Program Management, or a related area (or equivalent practical experience).

• 5+ years of experience in project management, program management, launch readiness, product operations, or a similar role within a software/SaaS environment.

• Proven experience in coordinating intricate, cross-functional initiatives involving Product, Engineering, and customer-facing teams.

• Exceptional organizational and execution abilities, including experience managing timelines, interdependencies, risks, and stakeholder communications.

• Capacity to distill information from various teams into clear status updates, readiness assessments, and actionable recommendations.

• MBA or a relevant advanced degree is advantageous.

• PMP, CAPM, ScrumMaster, or similar certification is preferred.

• Background in supporting product launches, release readiness, sales enablement, support readiness, or analogous cross-functional business processes in an enterprise software company.

• Familiarity with program/project tools and reporting systems to manage delivery and readiness across multiple stakeholders.

• Strong project and program coordination capabilities, with the ability to oversee multiple workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholders concurrently.

• Understanding of launch readiness, cross-functional planning, and governance processes within a software or SaaS context.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create concise status updates, meeting materials, and risk summaries for stakeholders.

• Proficiency in identifying, tracking, and escalating risks, issues, and dependencies in a clear and timely manner.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and follow-through.

• Ability to work effectively across Product, Engineering, GTM, and operational teams without direct authority.

• Proficient with project/program tools and collaboration platforms (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft 365).
