Product Platform Manager – Excavator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with customers and dealers, serving as the main point of contact between Engineering, Product Development, and the Sales Department.

• Accountable for Topcon's grading and paving solutions, ensuring that customer needs are converted into prioritized product requirements.

• Guide product development decisions and oversee the product portfolio throughout its entire lifecycle.

• Execute product strategies and roadmaps as outlined by the Product Platform Owner.

• Work with stakeholders to guarantee timely and effective achievement of roadmap milestones.

• Manage daily product lifecycle activities, such as new product launches, product updates, and end-of-life transitions.

• Ensure alignment with market demands and customer expectations.

• Track product performance indicators, including revenue, margins, costs, and market competitiveness.

• Assist in pricing recommendations and initiatives for improving profitability.

• Serve as the link between Product Creation, Product Supply, Marketing, and Sales Units.

• Facilitate coordination to ensure high-quality execution across various functions.

• Evaluate customer needs, market trends, and competitor behaviors.

• Offer recommendations to guide product positioning and portfolio strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A background in surveying, construction management, or civil engineering is preferred.

• Experience in construction and/or surveying practices.

• Familiarity with product lifecycle processes, profitability metrics, and go-to-market strategies.

• Strong analytical skills and experience in interpreting data to inform decisions.

• Capability to manage multiple projects within a cross-functional setting.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
