This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take ownership of customer insights and prioritize the backlog accordingly.
• Collect and analyze feedback from customers to identify common themes and challenges.
• Convert insights into a well-defined, prioritized backlog that aligns with customer value and business objectives.
• Balance immediate enhancements with the long-term evolution of the product.
• Facilitate the delivery process in collaboration with the engineering team.
• Sustain a well-organized and curated backlog in Jira.
• Compose clear and actionable user stories accompanied by robust acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to clarify requirements, manage trade-offs, and maintain momentum in delivery.
• Enhance product comprehension and contribute to its strategic direction.
• Acquire an in-depth knowledge of the platform, customer workflows, and key use cases.
• Serve as the internal resource for inquiries regarding operational functionality and rationale.
• Aid in product discovery by defining problems and validating potential solutions.
• Communicate effectively across all business levels.
• Keep internal teams updated on ongoing developments and timelines.
• Coordinate feature launches with engineering and provide clear release notes and updates.
• Act as the primary point of contact for inquiries regarding upcoming features and release timelines.
• Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable role within a software product setting.
• Proficiency in writing clearly and succinctly, whether it be user stories, acceptance criteria, or internal communications.
• Confidence in collaborating closely with engineers, possessing a solid grasp of technical constraints and trade-offs.
• Experience in managing and prioritizing a product backlog using tools like Jira.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management.
• Ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment with competing demands.
• A pragmatic and solutions-oriented approach.
• Experience in a small team or scale-up environment.
• Familiarity with web platforms (preferably .NET) and/or mobile applications.
