Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Serve as a model for agile methodologies and foster innovation.

• Ensure the effectiveness of agile rituals for productive outcomes.

• Collaborate with your agile team and VW Business partners to prioritize the roadmap and prepare new features for development.

• Present new developments to peers and stakeholders, employing creative methods to educate teams on the functionalities and uses of new features.

• Contribute to a positive team environment and strengthen team connections.

• Motivate both your team and stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned with the vision and roadmap.

• Foster a robust feedback culture where all team members feel empowered to share honest feedback and insights.

• Gather requirements, conduct user research, and analyze market needs to develop a well-structured roadmap and backlog.

• Collaborate with business partners for backlog prioritization and maintenance.

• Serve as a liaison between business and development, ensuring clear communication of business needs into actionable requirements.

• Support and substantiate arguments with data and metrics.

• Engage with KPIs and OKRs.

• Actively utilize monitoring tools for specific use cases, respond to failures, and ensure timely and transparent communication with all affected stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Product Owner (PO) or Project Manager (PM).

• Proven track record of delivering successful products, including defining vision, strategy, outcome-focused product roadmaps, and managing backlogs.

• Experience in an Agile environment and familiarity with scrum methodology (SAFe is an advantage).

• Competency in articulating and testing product hypotheses.

• Demonstrated capacity to influence decision-making across various contexts.

• Proficient in defining and prioritizing product features.

• Experience collaborating closely with engineers, designers, and business units.

• Fluent in English and/or Spanish; proficiency in German is a plus.
