This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Act as a representative of business stakeholders within the Engineering Team for one or more functional areas, serving as the voice of the customer and articulating their needs, priorities, and constraints in every decision.

• Collaborate directly with internal and external stakeholders to refine the roadmap and features for targeted markets, ensuring alignment with customer challenges prior to the initiation of specification work.

• Responsible for the market acceptance of solutions in designated functional areas, while maintaining product integrity, salability, and maintainability, as well as overall customer satisfaction and commercial success.

• Take ownership of all delivery aspects, including scope, pricing context, and customer-facing trade-offs.

• Manage the delivery schedule, ensuring accuracy, credibility, and transparent communication of progress, risks, and changes to customers and stakeholders.

• Collaborate with others to plan commitments for product increments, oversee the development and delivery of features as per the plan, and provide the business with estimates for broader roadmap initiatives.

• Develop and manage the feature backlog, prioritizing to ensure the team consistently focuses on high-value items while balancing business needs with technical feasibility and scalability.

• Establish clear acceptance criteria for each deliverable and approve completed work on behalf of the customer.

• Coordinate feature delivery with other agile teams, identifying project interdependencies and collaborating with Product Managers and Product Owners to determine the most efficient delivery sequence.

• Negotiate and manage changes to scope, timelines, and commitments with customers and internal stakeholders.

• Partner with the Lead Product Developer to reconcile commercial urgency with technical quality and sustainability.

• Prioritize and drive sound business decisions during the delivery of product increments, ensuring alignment with product strategy and customer roadmap.

• Manage defect queues for assigned functional areas with client support and drive defect resolution with engineering teams according to service level agreements.

• Organize sprint reviews and presentations for key customers, stakeholders, and senior management to gather feedback and promote continuous improvement.

• Ensure the team’s output aligns with product strategy and the customer roadmap.

• May serve as Product Owner for one or more teams of moderate complexity, as required by the needs of the assigned functional areas.


⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Product Manager/Owner with a proven track record of increasing accountability and leadership.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• Product Owner certification from a recognized accrediting body (Scrum Alliance, Scrum.org, SAFe, LeSS) is required; other agile certifications from the same accreditors may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

• Familiarity with product management principles; Product Management certification is a plus.

• Knowledge in the procurement field is highly advantageous.

• Proven success in leading teams comprising individuals with diverse skills and backgrounds.

• Experience with client journeys and demonstrated ability to synthesize process data.

• Ability to influence others and drive towards a shared vision or goal.

• Effective relationship builder with the capability to partner cross-functionally and work effectively with various organizational levels and personality types.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, exhibiting a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

• Understanding of the change process and how individuals navigate change.

• Technical proficiency with a strong grasp of broader business needs and strategies.

• Experience working within a large organization with multiple stakeholders.

• A passion for digital innovation and a commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex messages and trade-offs while telling a compelling story.
