This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Product Management and stakeholders to establish and implement the product vision and priorities.

• Work together with internal teams and sister companies to ensure alignment of features, workflows, and dependencies.

• Act as the main point of contact between business stakeholders and development teams.

• Oversee and manage the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with the roadmap priorities.

• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, mockups, and necessary documentation.

• Ensure backlog readiness and facilitate Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to aid in planning, execution, and delivery.

• Document workflows, business processes, system behaviors, and requirements.

• Convert business needs and legacy platform functionalities into clear, actionable requirements.

• Identify dependencies, edge cases, and process gaps.

• Maintain release documentation, change logs, and other related materials.

• Assist in migration strategies and support customer transitions to next-generation platforms.

• Transform legacy capabilities into scalable solutions for the future.

• Coordinate release readiness, documentation, communication, training, UAT, and validation activities.

• Report on sprint health, delivery progress, and release status.

• Lead cross-functional initiatives to translate customer and business requirements into development plans.

• Foster improvements in product processes, delivery effectiveness, and team best practices.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within a software product environment.

• Proficient in Jira, Confluence, or comparable Agile tools.

• CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent certification is preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

• Strong experience in writing requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Experience in close collaboration with engineering and business stakeholders.

• Preferred experience in SaaS, enterprise software, or operational systems.

• Experience with platform migrations or significant product changes is preferred.

• Familiarity with retail software solutions like POS, eCommerce, and inventory management is preferred.
