This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Product Owner plays a crucial role in conveying the needs of Business Stakeholders and ensuring their priorities are represented by the Development Team, enabling AMPS to deliver value within an Agile framework that aligns with organizational goals and objectives.
• Act as the representative for the Products assigned, taking full ownership and achieving Subject Matter Expert (SME) status.
• Gather and comprehend business processes, workflows, and requirements to steer the Product towards innovation and intent.
• Manage daily requirements and prioritization decisions, while providing ongoing business guidance to the delivery teams.
• Develop the product backlog and establish a Product Roadmap for tools and systems within the Profit and Loss (P&L) framework.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as with a geographically dispersed team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine project priorities and business value.
• Support the AMPS A–Z Process aimed at fostering reliability and consistency in value generation, providing a framework for business interactions with Engineering.
• Document business requirements, process workflows, and relevant use cases to ensure high-quality software development.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies.
• Create Epics that clearly define business requirements using established templates, including all necessary documentation to articulate project specifics.
• Assign initial priority, project sizing, and business value.
• Assist with the triage of production bugs as needed.
• Engage in Refinement Sessions, story creation, and help with test case generation/testing strategy when required.
• Approve the technical solution and finalize project priorities.
• Define the Sprint Goal.
• Collaborate with the Scrum Team to allocate Stories to Sprints.
• Support Development and QA/Regression activities.
• Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including kick-off meetings, demos, and completion of UAT sign-offs.
• Assist with code releases.
• Communicate progress updates at Sprint Start, UAT Start, and Production Completion.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
• Relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree, with at least 3 years of experience executing Provider Contracts using various methodologies.
• 3+ years of experience in Network and Vendor Management.
• 4+ years of experience working with high-performing software development teams.
• 4+ years of experience in an Agile environment.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct Business Analysis experience.
• At least 2 years of experience using Structured Query Language (SQL).
• 2+ years of experience in Web Portal and Mobile Application Development.
• Familiarity with Medical Claim Adjudication, Payment Integrity Systems, and various Claim Processes.
• Understanding of Relational Databases and Data Structures.
• Knowledge of Medical Bill Review Processes and Outputs.
• Awareness of Medical Claim Data, Data Flows, and Processes.
• Preferred experience in Technical Data Flow and System Analysis.
• Preferred experience with Business Intelligence reporting.
• Provision of a suitable remote working environment to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Indoor office setting with moderate noise levels when working from a physical office.
• Occasional physical tasks may involve lifting up to 25 lbs., walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
• Frequent sitting, keyboard usage, reaching with hands and arms, and engaging in verbal communication and listening approximately 70% of the time; standing for 30% or less of the time.
• Normal vision capabilities are required, including close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Up to 10% travel may be necessary.
