This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You serve as the right hand to the Product Owner, ensuring that ideas and requirements are transformed into a well-organized, deliverable backlog.
• You facilitate the progress of teams, stakeholders, and product-related tasks: providing clarity and eliminating obstacles.
• Currently, the COO is fulfilling the role of Product Owner but plans to transition this responsibility in the medium term.
• You collaborate closely with the Product Owner (COO) and the development teams.
• Backlog and ticket quality: draft user stories, establish acceptance criteria, clarify dependencies and edge cases, eliminate duplicates, and make priorities transparent.
• Organize and lead refinement sessions: collect topics in advance, address unresolved questions, and structure and document the refinements.
• Stakeholder intake and triage: gather requirements from Support, Sales, and Operations, consolidate and pre-structure them, and prepare decision-ready summaries.
• Delivery support: assist with releases (release notes/changelog), coordinate internal communications, and provide transparency on upcoming deliverables.
• Quality and feedback loop: analyze user feedback and support signals, translating bugs and improvements into clear product tasks.
• Processes and tools: implement streamlined product processes (avoiding unnecessary overhead) and maintain Jira, Confluence, or similar tools effectively.
• Experience in a product environment (e.g., PO assistant, Product Ops, PM/PO, project management, or Scrum Master with a strong product orientation).
• Strong capability to convert vague requirements into clear user stories (including acceptance criteria).
• Proficient in facilitating discussions, prioritizing tasks, and confidently saying "no"—assertive yet courteous.
• Well-organized, responsible, and dependable: you complete tasks rather than merely making them presentable.
• Basic technical knowledge to collaborate effectively with engineering teams (coding skills are not necessary).
• Fluent in German (both spoken and written).
• Nice to have: experience in B2B SaaS, hospitality, retail, or POS sectors.
• Familiarity with analytics/product metrics or support workflows.
• Understanding of Scrum/Kanban methodologies (applied pragmatically).
• Ample opportunity to define your role and engage in swift decision-making processes.
• Products that create genuine impact and address clear user challenges.
• Remote or hybrid work options based on your setup, with flexible working hours.
• Maximum flexibility in work location: 100% remote, hybrid, or entirely on-site in St. Wendel.
• Opportunities for training and career advancement.
• A fair and competitive salary that reflects your qualifications and experience.
• 30 days of vacation to ensure you can rest and rejuvenate.
• Regular company events, such as a summer party, aimed at fostering team spirit and enjoyment.
• A motivated and friendly team that values collaboration and open exchange of ideas.
