This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more state.
• Take ownership of the comprehensive commercial strategy for Athennian's platform, which includes tier structure, add-on strategies, as well as pricing and packaging suggestions.
• Define and sustain segment-specific positioning tailored to different buyer personas.
• Transition the organization from "feature pushing" to marketing aligned with workflows.
• Create ongoing rituals and operating cadences to ensure team clarity.
• Monitor commercial performance metrics such as attach rates, ACV uplift, pricing realization, and discount trends.
• Convert product capabilities into workflows specific to different client segments.
• Work directly within the product to pinpoint workflow deficiencies.
• Collaborate with Product Management to prioritize the roadmap.
• Develop and sustain sales enablement programs linked to revenue outcomes.
• Participate in sales calls to convey product value in real-time.
• Provide Customer Success with workflow-oriented value narratives that promote feature adoption.
• Approximately 10 years of overall experience, primarily as a Senior Individual Contributor in product marketing, with the last 1–2 years at the Director level.
• Demonstrated experience in B2B SaaS and startups; adept at navigating ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Passionate about engaging in buyer-facing discussions, possessing the instinct and confidence to guide a deal to closure when necessary.
• Experience in sectors where generic messaging falls short; able to establish credibility with knowledgeable buyers.
• Proven track record in developing pricing and packaging strategies, including tier design and add-on architecture.
• History of creating sales enablement programs that have measurably enhanced pipeline conversion or revenue results.
• Established ability to enhance the PM–PMM relationship and create collaborative cross-functional operating models.
• Comfortable with hands-on engagement with a technical product.
• Demonstrated experience using AI-powered tools (e.g., Cursor or similar) for automating routine marketing tasks.
• Practical experience with HubSpot (CRM, lifecycle tracking, campaign reporting) and Clay (data enrichment, account research, workflow automation).
