This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Lead the product strategy focused on user protection, overseeing programmatic Organization Verification, KYC processes, and Fraud Detection initiatives.
β’ Enhance the user experience by implementing product modifications to our onboarding process that improve verification data capture while ensuring a smooth activation flow.
β’ Develop internal tools to enable our support teams to swiftly identify and respond to malicious actors.
β’ Set up monitors and alerts through providers like Stripe Radar to proactively address risks and reduce scam activities.
β’ Detect and address link spam that undermines Donorbox's domain authority and search ranking, including impacts in AI-driven search tools and answer engines.
β’ Suggest and collaborate with other Service and Product Line engineering teams on necessary adjustments within their areas of responsibility.
β’ Work closely with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to enhance WAF rules and platform monitoring capabilities.
β’ Partner with the Payments team to improve refund and chargeback processes, thereby reducing financial risks.
β’ Oversee policies related to User Generated Content, Content Safety, Spam, and Terms of Service (TOS) violations to maintain platform integrity.
β’ Direct the verification badge product and program.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of product management experience, with demonstrated expertise in Trust & Safety, Fintech, or B2B SaaS platforms.
β’ A successful history of developing and launching features related to risk mitigation, identity verification (KYC/KYB), or fraud detection.
β’ Familiarity with GDPR and data protection principles, along with practical experience in implementing product compliance measures (full legal expertise is not necessary, but a strong compliance mindset is essential).
β’ Understanding of SEO fundamentals and domain authority, particularly the effects of platform-generated spam and low-quality links on search reputation.
β’ A hands-on, analytical approach with a passion for diving into data to evaluate product impact and success.
β’ Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to balance discussions about technical debt and stakeholder feature requests.
β’ A passion for the nonprofit sector and a commitment to making a positive impact.
β’ A global perspective that appreciates the diverse needs of organizations around the world.
β’ Strong analytical skills for evaluating various business scenarios, user friction points, and risk metrics.
