This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Assist in the strategy, planning, and implementation of the Veracross global payments roadmap across the US, UK, ANZ, and additional markets.
• Perform market research, customer discovery, and competitive analysis to guide decisions regarding payment products.
• Collaborate with payment processors, gateways, and banking partners to assess capabilities, negotiate features, and maintain daily relationships.
• Work alongside UX, engineering, compliance, and GTM teams to create intuitive, secure, and scalable payment solutions for schools and families.
• Convert business and customer needs into well-defined product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure adherence to PCI DSS, NACHA, card network rules, and regional payment regulations (e.g., PSD2/Strong Customer Authentication in the UK/EU, ATO/AusPayNet standards in Australia).
• Review payment performance metrics — including authorization rates, decline reasons, settlement timing, chargebacks, and fees — to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
• Assist GTM, customer success, and support teams with training, documentation, and enablement related to payment features.
• Monitor KPIs, report on product performance, and adjust the roadmap based on measurable outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of pertinent experience in payments, fintech, financial services, or a closely allied field (e.g., associate product manager, payments operations, payments analyst, product analyst, or implementation specialist dealing with payments or treasury products).
• Practical understanding of the end-to-end process of online payments — encompassing card processing, ACH/bank transfers, gateways, processors, and settlement.
• Knowledge of payments compliance and risk concepts such as PCI, fraud prevention, and chargebacks.
• Strong analytical skills, comfortable utilizing data to influence product strategies.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a talent for collaborating across different time zones and regions.
• Inquisitive, organized, and self-motivated — enthusiastic about progressing into a comprehensive product management role with a global focus.

• Previous experience as an Associate Product Manager or Product Analyst on a payments or fintech product.
• Familiarity with international/cross-border payments, multi-currency processing, or foreign exchange.
• Experience with payment platforms such as Stripe, Adyen, Worldpay, Payroc, or similar.
• Knowledge of regional payment methods (e.g., BECS/Direct Debit in Australia, BACS/Faster Payments in the UK, ACH in the US).
• Experience working in or with K–12 schools, higher education, or family-oriented billing platforms.
• Exposure to machine learning and/or automation.
