This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
β’ Take ownership of a primary trading sub-surface from start to finish (either a new asset class or an ancillary trading product) - lead prioritization, API design, and implementation within your surface.
β’ Conduct discovery sessions with partners and prospects in relation to actual integration limitations, convert insights into a structured backlog for your surface, and assertively decline requests that do not align with the platform without overcommitting.
β’ Deliver to production at the pace of a rapidly growing platform - draft clear PRDs, collaborate with engineering on API agreements, and create documentation that partners can utilize effectively.
β’ Collaborate with compliance, legal, and market-structure/execution teams on product choices that involve licensing, trading regulations, best execution practices, and venue connectivity - comfortable delivering in tandem with them in a regulated setting.
β’ Enhance operational efficiency within your surface - manage exception handling, develop partner-facing tools, automate repetitive operations - and take ownership of the metrics.
β’ Monitor adoption post-GA - including trading volume, order success rates, partner activation, and partner-reported issues - and refine documentation, SDK usability, and rollout strategies until your surface achieves genuine adoption.
β’ Provide timely and precise updates on product status and outcomes to both internal and external stakeholders, including partners.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, Consulting, or launching a startup - ideally in equities, options, FX, money market funds, or other regulated trading/brokerage infrastructure.
β’ Proven expertise in at least one trading surface - such as an asset class (MMFs, Global Stocks, FX, Options), execution/order management, margin, FIX, or another essential trading capability - delivered at production scale.
β’ Experience in delivering B2B/developer-facing products: SDKs, APIs, partner integrations where developers and partners are the primary customers, rather than just end users.
β’ Comfort in delivering alongside compliance, legal, and market-structure teams within a regulated environment.
β’ Proficient in data analysis using SQL and a relevant BI tool.
β’ Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, finance, or a related field.
β’ Strong business acumen to evaluate stakeholder interests, technological feasibility, time, and budget considerations.
β’ Competitive Salary & Stock Options
β’ Health Benefits
β’ New Hire Home-Office Setup: One-time USD $500
β’ Monthly Stipend: USD $150 per month via a Brex Card
