Product Manager, Mobile Intelligence Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and actively oversee the complete lifecycle of products within the Mobile Intelligence services portfolio, contributing to the overarching JT Strategy.

• Create new products and service offerings, including sourcing and assessing innovative ideas from various relevant channels.

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to uncover trends, opportunities, and customer requirements, utilizing data-driven insights for product decision-making.

• Prepare and deliver comprehensive business cases to gain support from all relevant stakeholders, particularly from customer-facing teams, to ensure alignment with revenue and customer targeting goals.

• Serve as a subject matter expert in the product area and services with a client-focused approach, including strategic positioning for JT within the competitive landscape, while possessing an in-depth understanding of market technologies and developments.

• Provide technical supplier management across operator partnerships, adapting to evolving technical standards and influencing operator roadmaps as needed, while supporting the technical testing and development of services for operational readiness and successful delivery.

• Introduce and manage new products, including the development of end-to-end service processes, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards, and facilitating training for pre- and post-support, while producing portfolio documentation and support materials through to launch and comprehensive sales onboarding as required.

• Oversee software delivery and maintain technical ownership for specific product areas and markets, adjusting to changing requirements and standards to ensure timely and efficient product testing and release.

• Manage the portfolio in-life, monitoring performance against targets and market conditions, proposing enhancements, promoting propositions to appropriate channels, and formulating exit/replacement strategies for products and services slated for withdrawal.

• Communicate target markets for services and propositions, portfolio elements, and promotional objectives to the business, facilitating suitable campaign delivery and appropriate sales activities. Maintain and prioritize key portfolio KPIs to track shifts in portfolio behavior.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in a Product Manager role or a related position (e.g., technical project management, technology strategy, or project management role), ideally within the technology sector associated with product portfolios.

• Strong background in mobile technology with a solid understanding of Mobile Network Operators, APIs, product development, product testing, support, and the overall ecosystem.

• Innovative mindset, capable of grasping key market drivers and knowing how to leverage them effectively.

• Experience in managing productive commercial and supplier relationships, with the ability to support sales personnel in external meetings.

• Strong numerical, analytical skills, and exceptional attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, able to convey vision, value, and complex trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Operate with considerable autonomy within a cross-departmental governance structure that requires political savvy and people influencing skills.

• Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities in ambiguous and fast-paced environments, with the confidence to take ownership of outcomes.

• Customer-centric mindset with the ability to understand user and client needs, balanced with commercial and regulatory considerations.
