This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop strategies and a roadmap for essential KYB capabilities, addressing prioritization trade-offs, strategic bets, and explicitly identifying work that will not be pursued.

• Conduct customer discovery to gain a comprehensive understanding of onboarding, risk, and compliance workflows for both enterprise and SMB clients, translating customer challenges into clear product narratives, business cases, and launch strategies.

• Perform market and competitive analysis to determine where KYB should take the lead, where maintaining parity is sufficient, and where new product categories need to be created.

• Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to formulate detailed technical requirements, including APIs, platform workflows, data necessities, edge cases, acceptance criteria, and trade-offs that facilitate execution and support global scalability.

• Oversee end-to-end new product launches, working in partnership with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, and Support to successfully introduce new capabilities to enterprise and SMB customers.

• Establish and manage success metrics, such as adoption rates, conversion rates, verification rates, match quality, processing times, manual review reduction, revenue impact, and customer satisfaction levels.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years in product management, demonstrating a history of delivering work that positively influenced measurable business or customer outcomes.

• Technical fluency - proficient in specifying API behaviors, analyzing platform and data architecture trade-offs, and collaborating with engineers as a peer regarding scope, edge cases, and build-versus-buy decisions.

• Strong analytical skills - capable of defining the appropriate metrics, establishing learning loops, and employing data to inform prioritization choices.

• Experience in customer discovery - regularly engaging with customers and internal teams to synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights, distinguishing between urgent requests and sustainable product opportunities.

• Go-to-market experience in guiding new products from conception to launch alongside sales, marketing, and customer success teams, ideally including enterprise sales processes.

• Ability to manage stakeholders and exert influence without direct authority across Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Support, Marketing, and Compliance, including fostering sustainable alignment on challenging trade-offs.

• Default AI fluency - adept at using modern AI tools to enhance research, drafting, prototyping, and engineering communications.

• Exceptional written communication skills - your strategy documents and PRDs should require minimal interpretation.
