Product Manager – Internship

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Target candidates: Individuals who can join as new graduates in October 2027 or April 2028

• Employment type: Internship

• Participation in the internship is mandatory from within Japan; therefore, only applicants who can reside in Japan should apply.

• Workdays: Candidates must be able to work at least 20 hours per week, for a duration of either 2 or 3 months

• Location: Japan (Remote or Roppongi Office)

• Candidates must resonate with the mission and values of the Mercari Group and its various companies

• Experience using products from the Mercari Group is required

• Possess leadership and communication skills capable of driving projects while engaging diverse stakeholders

• Interest in management, organizational development, and culture-building as a potential future leader within the Mercari Group

• Experience in addressing social issues as personal challenges, utilizing products or technology to seek solutions

• Ability to articulate the societal challenges that sparked passion during academic years, along with the actions taken

• Enjoys change and is willing to boldly tackle unfamiliar areas and challenging situations

• Proven track record in successfully completing high-difficulty projects or challenges

• Experience in generating results through projects utilizing the latest AI technologies and tools

• Eligible to join Mercari as a new graduate in either October 2027 or April 2028
